Day 3
A great night's sleep after the previous evening's beer. Said goodbye to Mike and wished him luck with his ride to Foix before he would head north-west from there for Biarritz. Set off at a cracking pace aiming for lunch in Andorra, while completely failing to notice we were heading north and not south. Exciting riding over very bumpy roads before pulling up at Carbonne, way out of our way. Blamed Tom-Tom before joining a motorway and heading into Foix from the north west down the road Mike would have been travelling up. Lunch at Foix including some great ice cream, then a surreal frenzied dream of a ride across the Pyrenees. I've never known anything like it. Late to Barcelona but found the hotel with ease since it was on the sea front. Great food again, also some beer, but somewhat later than we planned.
