Day 6
Another head-down, mile-covering day. Some tremendously beautiful scenery near Granada, the countryside altogether more lush. Some strangely rich, plum-coloured soil in places. A really great motorway service meal. Ice-cream and fuel in Fuengirola, where Vicki and Damian had a family holiday a few years ago and fondly reminisced about their youngest daughter vomiting in a coach on the A-7 towards Gibraltar. Chaos in Gibraltar itself, but a very timely arrival meant that we were waved to by Jan as she passed in her taxi, having just flown in to meet us. The problem was that we were looking the other way.
